Lawrence S. Paikoff, M.D., J.D.

Dr. Lawrence Paikoff is a physician-attorney who is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Paikoff has been practicing medicine for over 10 years. He has a very diverse practice including all aspects of adult primary care medicine, which includes expertise in treating patients with psychiatric and drug addiction problems.

Dr. Paikoff also has a background in pharmaceutical drug testing having served as the Associate Medical Director for the Product Investigations Company.

Dr. Paikoff has also served as Chief Public Health Official. In this role he was actively involved in implementing and enforcement of one of the first smoking ordinances. He received national attention for directing a large scale control effort for an epidemic of Hepatitis A.

Dr. Paikoff brings his medical expertise to California Fen-Phen Litigation Associates and is supervising all the medical and scientific information involved in this complex litigation. The addition of Dr. Paikoff to our legal team has tremendously benefited the many individuals harmed by the weight drugs.
